Not Sexy BUT So Good
I have been a Calvin Klein hosiery devotee for more years than I can remember. I tried the other brands; Donna Karan, Wolford (I do love their tights), Hue, but none, for the basic sheer nylons were quite as perfect (or lasted as long) as CKs.
All that changed about 6 months ago. For some reason I found that my tried and true go-to-hose was just not fitting correctly. The waist would sometimes roll, the darks looked uneven, and I could not get more than 2 wears out of them before a run. Too much fuss for $12 - $15 per pair.
So, suffering along with my unhappy hose I walked into Duane Reade for some sundry bathroom product and saw their hosiery rack. It was at a re-vamped chic-ified "DR" which persuaded me that for $5 I might just try a pair and see how "awful" I was sure they would be.
NOT!
I love them. They are marvelous and last and last. They fit perfectly, the color is always even and of course... they are so delightfully cheap that when they run I toss them without a care!
